Morgan Geyser, one of the two women convicted in the 2014 Slender Man stabbing case, was found and taken into custody in Posen, Illinois, on Sunday night, November 23, 2025.

She had gone missing on Saturday night after cutting off her GPS monitoring bracelet and leaving her supervised group home in Madison, Wisconsin. She was found at a truck stop with an adult acquaintance. Her arrest is expected to lead to an extradition hearing and a likely revocation of her conditional release.
